Early New York Snow

New York experienced one of the earliest snow days in recent history after a storm put in at least 30 inches of snow that broke trees and snapped power lines that caused widespread power outage.
Last year's  heavy snow storm closed roads and public transport followed by floodings.  However, the National Weather Service reported that temperatures will begin rising on Monday that will melt down the snow.
Utility companies are trying to restore electricity but added that it may take days before power are up again.  The earlier than expected snowfall likewise cause delays or even postponement of some Halloween activities.
