Ramona Bautista leaves country for Hong Kong

Manila, Philippines) - Ramona Bautista or Maria Ramona "Mara" Bautista, left the country for Hong Kong aboard Cathay Pacific at around 9pm yesterday. Wearing a red scarf which was partly covering her face,  she was reportedly escorted by a man at the departure area of Naia Terminal 1 at around 6:20pm.  


Immigration authorities said that they could not stop Ms. Bautista from leaving as there are no "hold departure order" or any court order issued against her. Ms. Ramona Bautista is a daughter of Genelyn Magsaysay Bautista and Ramon Revilla Sr.

Senator Bong Revilla's reaction

It was reported that Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla was shocked upon hearing that Ramona had left the country and could be a sign of guilt, the Senator from Cavite added.  

Ram Revilla murder case update

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has stated that it is standing by the findings of the Paranaque police in the Ram Revilla case.  Initial investigations have linked the two siblings of Ram, both Ramona Bautista and Ramon Joseph Bautista  to the murder based on eyewitness accounts and the testimony of Janelle Manahan who survived the incident.
