Odds still in Manny Pacquiao's favor

MANILA, Philippines - Approximately two weeks before Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez faces for the third time reigning WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, the fight odds are still in favor heavily for the Filipino boxing icon.

Pacquiao remained the -800 favorite, meaning you need $800 to win just a hundred bucks.

Marquez, six years older at 38, stayed at +500. It’s been that way when the odds first came out, and could stay that way until fight night.

Top notch trainer Freddie Roach predicts a knockout by the 6th round. The added muscles by Marquez does not worry Roach who said that the added weight will make the former heavy and sluggish.

Pacquiao and Marquez first fought in 2004 to a draw while in 2008, Pacquiao won a spilt decision.
