Manny Pacquiao wins over Juan Manuel Marquez via a controversial majority decision. It was indeed a very close fight with Pacquiao at times feeling frustrated unable to mount a sustained offesive. Everytime Pacquiao comes in, Marquez, famously known as a counter puncher, always got him on his way out.
Juan Manuel Marquez was landing very good shots while Pacquiao was landing more punches overall. Judges have it 114-114, 115-113, 116-112.
Cups were thrown to the ring with Marquez leaving to wild cheers. Crowd does not want Pacquiao interviewed via deafening boos.
